Wilma Wheeler Bishop Wisham, 96 of Thomasville passed away August 29, 2016 at Camilla Gardens. The funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor William (Billy) Majors will officiate. Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Wilma was born on April 10, 1920 in Whigham to the late Rupert and Floriede Wheeler. She was married to Delma Bishop who preceded her in death in 1961. Active pallbearers will be Travis Duren, Ashley Bishop, Chuck Kirksey, Blair Kirksey, Evans Duren and Nathan Youmans. Survivors include daughter, Paula Duren (Tommy), son, Murry Bishop (Ann), daughters, Sandra Arline and Debra Kirksey (Randy); grandchildren, Tracy Duren, Teresa Youmans, Travis Duren, Alina Vaughn, Marla Giddens, Ashley Bishop, Dennis Quick, Stephanie Quick, Cindy Bell, Todd Arline, Chuck Kirksey and Blair Kirksey; 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents, three brothers, one sister, late husband WL (Bud) Wisham, and son-in-law, Ross Arline. She is survived by one brother. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the American Cancer Society, 507 W Third Ave, Suite 4, Albany, Georgia 31701. Visitation will be held 6-8 pm, Wednesday at the funeral home.
