Moultrie, GA - William Howell "Billy" Welch, 85, of Moultrie, died at his home on April 23, 2025.

Graveside services were held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Terry Mitchell, Matthew Mitchell, Bryan Dell, Adam Reese, Robert Jolly, and Christopher Taylor served as pallbearers.

Born on March 15, 1940, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of the late Howell Welch and Kate Weldon Welch. Mr. Welch worked for many years as a service technician for Destiny Mobile Homes and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Taylor Welch; brother-in-law, Donald Thomas.

He is survived by children, Wayne Welch and wife Eva, Debbie Darlene Mitchell and husband Steve, Tammy Welch and Johnny Goddard, Tracie and Javier Munoz, and Kristi Welch and fiancé Xavior Brown; grandchildren, Ashley Welch, Stephanie Brown, Heather Reese, Brandy Jolly, Jennifer Mitchell, Terry Mitchell, Matthew Mitchell and Bryan Dell; 18 great grandchildren; and sister, Margaret Thomas; and nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home & Crematory.
