Valdosta, Georgia - Tommy Wayne Daniels, Sr., 81, of Valdosta, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026, while at Pruitt Health Heritage House. Son of the late Telmon Moses Daniels and Callie Inell Browning Daniels, he was born on March 14, 1944, in Ocilla, Georgia. Tommy worked as credit manager for various furniture stores including Kelly Reeves and Russells in Moultrie. He was one of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 58 years, Dorothy Mays Daniels of Valdosta; son and daughter-in -law, Tommy, Jr. and Carin Daniels of Lee, Florida; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Steve Carter of Kernersville, North Carolina; grandchildren, Katie Hunt and husband, Eli Hunt, Tommy Carter, Lanie Carter, Kenley Daniels, Weston Daniels, Zachary Daniels, and Gabriel Daniels; great grandchildren, Levi Hunt and Lucas Hunt. Also surviving are his siblings, Jean Fenton, Cindy Marshall, Greg Daniels and his wife Janet, sister-in-law, Marsha Daniels and several nieces and nephews. Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Teresa Daniels, a son, Andrew Daniels and a brother Danny Daniels.

The family is planning a private gathering at a later date.
