Thomas Stacy Holton, 42, of Moultrie, died Thursday, June 13, 2013, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany. A memorial service will be 4 p.m., Monday, June 24, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Julian Griner officiating. Born Aug. 4, 1970, in Adel, he was the son of Charles Levern Holton and the late Patricia "Patsy" Nicholson Holton Pruett. He was a Gulf War Army veteran, serving as a medic, and was a welder with Voight Metal Fabrication. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hall and Jessie Mae Nicholson, James and Grace Holton and Edward and Alice Pope. Survivors include one daughter, Kerri Holton of Tifton; one son, Eli Holton of Moultrie; his father and step-mother, Charles Holton and Sharon Pope Holton of Moultrie; his step-father, John Pruett of Atlanta; his fiancée, LaLonnie Driggers of Moultrie; one brother, Damon Keith Holton of Ellenton; three step-brothers, Marc Ricks and wife Pooh of Doerun, Michael Ricks and David Ricks, both of Moultrie; special cousins, Carol Nicholson, Joey Rentz, Kay Day, Heather Martinez and Kristi Massey; special friends, Paul and Laura Moyer, Chance and L.J. Martin and Matt Young; and other cousins and several nieces and nephews. The family will greet friends immediately following the memorial service, on Monday, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
