Mr. Ricky Johnson, 64, of Moultrie, Georgia, passed away on September 1, 2021 at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, Georgia. He was born in Moultrie on May 26, 1957 and lived all of his life in Colquitt County. He was a retired machinist with Hubbell Die Casting and was a member of Oak Dale Baptist Church. Mr. Johnson was a graduate of Moultrie High School and Moultrie Tech. He loved his family, home and friends. He enjoyed hunting, old cars and could often be found hanging out with his friends at the Huddle House, Moultrie Shooters Supply or Darrell Thompson's shop. Mr. Johnson was very proud of his children and grandchildren.

Mr. Johnson is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Jeremiah and Brittany Johnson of Warner Robins, Georgia, and Andrew and Whitney Johnson of South Korea; seven grandchildren: Julian, Athena and Isaiah Johnson, all of Warner Robins, and Lauren, Olivia, Alicekate and Eleanor Rae Johnson, all of South Korea; a sister and brother-in-law, Belinda and Delane Thompson of Moultrie; two nephews: William Thompson II and wife, Tara, and Chisolm Thompson and his fiancée, Kimberley Harrington; two nieces, Jessie Johnson and Miranda Johnson and a great niece, Willa Thompson. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Mark Johnson and Almeta Sellers Johnson; a son, Matthew Johnson; and a brother, Randy Johnson.

A graveside service for Mr. Johnson was held at 4:00 PM on Monday, September 6, 2021 at Oak Dale Church Cemetery on Colquitt County with Pastor James Williams and Rev. Tim Dudding officiating. Pallbearers included William Thompson II, Chisolm Thompson, Andy Walker, Gary Milam, Darrell Thompson and Leon Sellers.
