Guyton, GA. - Marvin Milton Pierce, 87, died Dec. 12, 2025.
Pierce was born Dec. 30, 1937, in Moultrie to Joel Thomas and Cynthia Lucille (Williamson) Pierce.
He served in the military 1953-1974, including two tours in Vietnam as a combat photographer. He was a member of the Navy film crew that documented the splashdown of the Mercury Atlas 9 mission in 1963.
A private service was held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
