Mrs. LaDonna Costner Funderburk died Sunday, November 3, 2024, in Moultrie, Georgia.
She was born February 25, 1946, in Farmville, Virginia to Mr. and Mrs. Percy Costner. Granddaughter of George William Hewitt Costner and Lois Yoder Costner of Lincolnton, North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Percy Costner; in-laws, Dr. and Mrs. Darrell Funderburk; son, Jack Edward Franklin Funderburk; and sister, Wee Bonnie Costner Moore.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Edward Funderburk; son Charles Benjamin Whitney Funderburk of Midvale, Utah; daughter Anna Funderburk Buckner (Bo) of Auburn, Alabama; grandchildren, James Randy Buckner, III (J.R.), and Charles Edward Tripp Funderburk (Tripp).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Jack Edward Franklin Foundation (1014 First Street SE, Moultrie, GA 31768), the Funderburk-Buckner Chi Omega Foundation Scholarship (3395 Players Club Parkway, Memphis, TN 38125) or the charity of your choice.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Westview Cemetery in Moultrie.
