Karyn Marie (Hughes) Baell, 52, of Lakeville, MN, passed away, Thursday, Dec. 14, 2023 at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024, at Celebration Church in Lakeville, MN, with the Rev. Dan Olson officiating.

Karyn was born Nov. 20, 1971, in Silver Spring, Md., and was raised in Annapolis, Md.

Karyn was the daughter of Thomas Donnelly Hughes and Sharon Hardesty Hughes. Karyn graduated from Annapolis High School and received an associate's degree from Anne Arundel Community College. It was also in Annapolis where she met and married,

Brad, her husband of 30 years. Together, they built a beautiful family with four wonderful children.

Karyn's true passion was her children. In 1995, two years into their marriage, Karyn embarked on a 28-year career of raising her children and growing a family. Her nurturing spirit carried her family through multiple long-distance moves and created

friendships across the country that have long endured, no matter the distance between them.

Karyn has always had a deep love for children and most recently worked as a teacher at Primrose School of Lakeville North.

Karyn is survived by her husband, Kenneth Bradley (Brad) Baell of Lakeville, MN; her

four children, Courtney; Jack, Emily, and Kate Ball of Lakeville, MN; her parents, Tom

and Sharon Hughes of Annapolis, Md.; her brother, Gregg (Katherine) Hughes, of Leesburg, Va.; adoring aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
