Moultrie, GA - Memorial services for Karen Anne Thomson Morgan, 63, of Moultrie, GA, are at 3:00 p.m., Monday, August 11, 2025, at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel, Cairo, GA. Pastor Julian Griner will officiate. Mrs. Morgan passed away at Colquitt Regional Medical

Center, Moultrie, GA, on Thursday, August 7, 2025.

Mrs. Morgan was born on September 23, 1961, in Waycross, GA, to the late Jack Richard Thomson and Peggy Anne Pierce Thomson. She was raised in Cairo, GA where she attended Cairo High School. She married Lavon Mills on December 31, 1979. They were married for 25 years and were blessed with two daughters together. Karen was a warm, big-hearted, fun person who was easy to love. She worked hard at many jobs throughout her life. Her favorite one was working with the residents at Magnolia Place in Cairo. She

became close with many of them over the years. In 2017, she found love again and on May 5, 2018, she married Christopher (Chris) A. Morgan. On February 4, 2021, she

welcomed her first and only grandchild, Olivia Malone Eunice. She was the joy of Karen's life in her last years.

Survivors include: her husband, Chris A. Morgan of Moultrie, GA; her daughters, Christy Powell (Justin) of Hahira, GA, Brooke Eunice (Ronnie) of Thomasville, GA;

granddaughter, Olivia Eunice of Thomasville, GA; siblings, Kirk Thomson (Liz) of Cairo, GA, Kathy Hunter (Brian) of Tallahassee, FL; and nieces and nephews, Candice

Cone-Smith (Kevin), Mickey Thomson (Samantha), Ashley Thomson. She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home immediately following the service.
