Julius Stone
Julius Stone "Bill" Greene, Jr., 80, of Moultrie, died Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00AM Friday, November 15, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Moultrie with the Rev. Wayne Woods officiating. Interment, with military honors, will follow in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00PM-7:00PM Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
Casketbearers will be Tony DeRosso, Andy Harden, Nathan Harden, Randy Kelly, Phillip Brinson and Richie Turner.
Born January 4, 1939 in Moultrie, he was the son of the late Julius Stone Greene, Sr. and Gussie Lee Carnes Greene. Mr. Greene was a United States Air Force Veteran and a member of First Baptist Church of Moultrie. He retired from Merck Chemical Company as a production supervisor. His family remembers how he loved to fish, read and was an animal lover. Mr. Greene was a proud Packer Football season ticket holder for 54 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin infant sister, Julie Greene; brother, William Greene.
Survivors include his wife, Nan Presley Greene of Moultrie; children, Staci Greene DeRosso and Tony of Moultrie, Kindra Greene Harden and Andy of Doerun; grandchildren, Ragan Harden, Nathan Harden, Cason Harden, Brady DeRosso and Bowen DeRosso; sisters, Clara O'Neal of Moultrie, Dorothy Pearce of Norman Park; brother, Johnny Greene of Spring Creek, FL.; beloved cat, Bobo and dog Bruno.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Moultrie/Colquitt Humane Society, PO Box 2915, Moultrie, Ga. 31776.
Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.

So sad hearing about Mr Bill. He was and is a very good friend, He will be missed by all the friends and people who new Him. My condolences to the family especially Nan, may you and your family be Blessed with abundance of Love and Blessings forevermore.
