Camilla, Georgia - Judith Harrell Sanders, 83, of Camilla passed away at home on Friday, December 22, 2023 surrounded by family.

Graveside funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 27 at Oakview Cemetery with Dr. William F. Harrell officiating. Visitation will follow at the graveside.

Born August 5, 1940 in Moultrie, GA to the late M. Frank Harrell, Sr. and Opal Wava Ott Harrell. She was preceded in death by her brothers, M. Frank Harrell, Jr. and Stanley Harrell and sister, Helen Linder.

Warm, compassionate, and utterly selfless, Mrs. Sanders was a fountain of love and wellspring of kindness who touched the lives of her family, her friends, and all those who knew her. She was a caring wife and mother whose devotion to her loved ones was equaled only by her boundless generosity and thoughtful sense of empathy. All her adult life, Mrs. Sanders was an active member of her church, where she lent her beautiful voice to the choir and assisted with numerous children's ministries.

Mrs. Sanders is survived by her husband, Hollis S. Sanders, Jr. of Camilla; her son, Hollis S. Sanders, III (Deborah) of Camilla; her daughter, Caryn S. Oliver of Camilla; her grandchildren, Catherine Anne Oliver of Camilla, Clifford Layne Oliver, III (Blake) of Camilla, Hollis S. Sanders, IV of Seattle, WA, J. Bryant Oliver of Athens, and Clara Oliver Salha (Matthew) of New York, NY; great-grandchildren, West L. Oliver and Lennon Reign Salha; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Samaritan's Purse, the Salvation Army, or the Ronald McDonald House.
