Jo Ann (Dunn) Deal born on June 15, 1939, peacefully passed away in Moultrie on July 1, 2024.

She was a beloved seamstress at Riverside Manufacturing for many years. Jo Ann was known for her dedication to her craft and her warm personality.

Throughout her life, Jo Ann found joy in various hobbies and interests such as going to church and singing hymns, fishing, following Atlanta Braves baseball games, and assembling puzzles. Her love for these activities brought light into the lives of those around her.

Jo Ann was preceded in death by her husband James M. Deal, son Gene Deal, father Claudis Dunn, mother Lorene (Alderman) Dunn, and brother Don L. Dunn. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her surviving family: daughter Teresa Deal Porter and husband Bruce of Silver Hill Al., son Randy Deal and wife Melody of Moultrie GA., son Steve Deal of Moultrie, grandchildren Misty Packard and husband Carlos, Scott Porter, Joshua Deal, Matthew Deal and wife Kimberli, Randi Turner and husband Blake, Steven Deal, Albert Deal and wife Teresa, nine Great Grandchildren, and siblings James Dunn and wife Eve, Peggy Hatcher.

Services to honor the life of Jo Ann Deal will be held at Cobb Funeral Chapel in Moultrie GA. Visitation will take place on July 5th, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM followed by a Funeral Service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Jo Ann's kind spirit and gentle soul will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. May she rest in peace knowing that she was truly loved and will never be forgotten.
