Funeral services for James Joseph Palmer, of Coolidge will be held at 2 PM, Wednesday January 30th, 2019 at Riverside Holiness Church where he was a member. Rev. Mark Jordan will officiate and interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mr. Palmer passed away January 27, 2019 at Phoebe Putney Hospital in Albany. Born November 18, 1943 in Newton, Ga to the late David Palmer and Mary Martin Palmer. Mr. Palmer was a retired truck driver for Amerigas. Survivors include His wife of 47 years Betty Jean Hancock Palmer of Coolidge; daughters Brenda Lee Parker of Moultrie, Wanda Palmer of Albany; sons Gary Lee Parker of Coolidge, Michael Palmer of Coolidge and Mickey Palmer (Heather) of Albany. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and sister Dora Lee McKenzie of Camilla. He is preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.
