Funeral services for James Larry Fletch Fletcher, 70 of Thomasville will be held at 4:00 PM, Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Big Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Marshall Singletary will officiate and interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Fletcher passed away June 16th at his residence. Born May 3, 1948 in Moultrie, he was the son of the late Norbie Edgar Fletcher and Lois Daniels Fletcher and was the baby of 17 siblings. Mr. Fletcher worked for Hurst Boiler for 40 years as a director of purchasing. He was a member of First Baptist Church where he worked many years with the youth choir. He was an avid Atlanta Braves fan and was a ticket holder for 30 years and attended many games for the Braves. He enjoyed collecting their memorabilia along with pocket watches. He also was a Florida State Fan and especially enjoyed watching his girls play their sports. He also enjoyed his pipe while sitting on the back deck and eating at Fallins Barbeque. Mr. Fletcher is survived by his son, Chadwick Alan Fletcher and wife April Quick Fletcher of Thomasville; granddaughters, Mallory Ann Fletcher and Ava Allyn Fletcher; brothers & sisters, Raymond Fletcher, Ralph Fletcher, Bette F. Smith, Ida F. Anglin, Carolyn F. Pittman and Ronald Fletcher and many nieces and nephews. He is also remembered by his caregivers, Amy Reyes, Clartha Willingham and Carshinda Johnson. He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Robert Fletcher, N.E. Fletcher, Jr., Billy Fletcher, Cleo Fletcher, Vesta Spikes, Brenda Joiner, Mary Jo Moore, Margaret Durhen and Wynell Fletcher.
