Jack Charles Crawley, 85, of Norman Park, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010, in Moultrie. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 27, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tony Crawley and the Rev. Dan Robinson officiating. Interment will follow at Weeks Chapel Cemetery. Eric Plant, Jonathan Plant, Chip Back, Jason Murray, Justin Crawley and Nicholas Crawley will serve as casketbearers. Honorary casketbearers will be Jason Beck, Josh Beck, Barry Knight, Richard Baker, Alan Craft and Tate Welling. Born March 22, 1925, in Boston, Ga., Mr. Crawley was the son of the late John C. Crawley and Della Richards Crawley. He was a farmer and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the BVA Association and was a member of Weeks Chapel United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Nadine Crawley; two brothers, Frank Crawley and Otis Crawley; five sisters, Lois Woodard, Loretta Etheridge, Dede Turner, Ethel Dempsey and Rosie Day; and a grandson, Brandon Back. Survivors include his wife, Charlie Ruth Beck Crawley of Norman Park; a son, Tony Crawley and wife Carla of Norman Park; three daughters, Sandra Gail Sellers and husband Tony and Jacquelyn Back and husband Bobby, all of Norman Park, and Ann Plant and husband Gery of Cumming; two stepchildren, Janice Knight and husband Jack of Acree and Gene Beck and wife Margaret of Camilla; a sister, Claudia Mae Cason of Tifton; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
