Panama City, Florida - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lupe Martinez, who departed this world on December 27th, 2023. A devoted father, grandfather and great grandfather, Lupe leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Born in the heart of Arkansas, Lupe was a man of strength and resilience. Throughout his life, he touched the hearts of many, leaving an indelible mark on those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Lupe was a proud father to four wonderful children: Tammy Hobby, Sarah Trent, Stephan Martinez and Tony Martinez. His love for each of his children was evident in the bonds they shared. In addition to his role as a father, Lupe was a cherished grandfather to six and great grandfather of three. His enduring spirit and warm presence will be missed by all who had the privilege of calling him Brother, Father, Uncle, Papa, friend and colleague.

In this time of sorrow, let us remember Lupe Martinez for the joy and love he brought into the lives of those around him. To honor his memory a Celebration of Life event will be held on January 27th at Reed Bingham State Park in Building 3. May his soul find eternal peace, and may his family find solace in the cherished memories they shared together.
