age 61 of Albany, Georgia, formerly of Jamaica, New York, died Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at Pheobe Putney Memorial Hospital.

Memorial Services sponsored by his sister, Angela Smith-Mackey will be held Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 2pm, Southview Mortuary, Inc. Moultrie, Georgia with the Rev. David McCloud officiating. There will be no interment.

As a licensed, Minister, Frank was a proud teacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He loved sharing the word of God with others and leading them to Christ. He traveled throughout Georgia and Florida to share the goodness of salvation, as he served as the primary drummer with various local gospel groups. He was very sensitive to Gods' spirit and demonstrated acts of obedience by teaching the Word of God through his music. Frank was a profound ministerial Carpenter, who built relationships with everyone he met, and he used his carpentry skills to glorify the Lord. Although he was in pain daily after suffering from various strokes, and his vision was very limited, he approached life with strength and determination to enjoy everything and everyone.

Frank Maurice Smith is survived by wife, Teresa Johnson Smith, and sons: Demetris, Levan, Jamel, and Tommy, and a host of grandchildren. His siblings: Brenda Smith-Mobley, Angela Smith-Mackey, Valarie Smith-Green, Paula Smith and Brother, Frank Smith, Jr. and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews.
