Memorial services for Elena Dillow Dillard, 67 of Adel will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Westside Baptist Church in Adel. The family will combine her service with other family members who passed away during COVID. Flonnie & Willie Lawson and Glenda Dampier will also be remembered. Elena passed away August 23, 2023 at Archbold Hospital. Born December 24, 1955 in New Castle, IN; she was the daughter of the late Chester Easterling Dillow and Flonnie Phillips Lawson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Dillard. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church in Adel and worked as a store manager of several convenience stores around the area. She loved riding the roads, fishing and hanging out with friends and family. She is survived by her son, Michael D. Dampier of Lexington, KY; grandchildren, Kyle (Rachael) Brady of Sparks and Dale Brady, of Adel; great-grandchildren, Stacey, Liam, Denver & Delaney Brady, all of Sparks; nephew, Leroy "Roy" Willis of Adel and niece, Maggie W. Plymel of Boston. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter, Glenda L. Dampier; step-father, Willie V. Lawson; brother, Theodore "Ted" Dillow and sister, Louise D. Willis.
