Adel, Georgia - Mr. Clint Rountree, 45, of Adel, Georgia, passed away on September 19, 2021 at the South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta. Mr. Rountree was born on August 21, 1976, in Tift County to John Edsel "Chip" Rountree, Jr. and the late Carol Nolan Clements Rountree. He lived in Cook County all of his life and farmed with his dad and brother at Chip Rountree Farms. He was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church.

Mr. Rountree is survived by his wife, Heidi Moody Rountree; two sons, Jed Rountree and Levi Rountree, and one daughter, Molly Rountree; his father, John Edsel "Chip" Rountree; brother and sister-in-law, Luke and Brooke Rountree; sister and brother-in-law, Laura and Stephen Griffin; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Belle Rountree; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Greg and Deena Moody, all of Adel; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Scott and Anne Moody of Valdosta; sister-in-law, Stephanie Moody of Waycross, Georgia; nieces and nephews: Hart Griffin, Halle Griffin, Hannah Griffin, Winston Rountree, Tripp Rountree, Andi Rountree, Jackson Moody, Colson Moody, Tripp Moody, Kelsie Chandler, Kamryn Moody and Isaiah Sharpe. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

The funeral service for Mr. Rountree will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September, 22, 2021 at Springhead Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Brannon officiating. Interment will follow at the Rountree Cemetery. Visitation will be conducted from 6:00 to 9:00 PM on Tuesday, September, 21, 2021 at Boone Funeral Home, 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave.
