In Loving Memory of Carl Donald "Don" Presley (1933-2024). A man of generosity, kindness, and wit, Don passed away on January 12, 2024, surrounded by family. Devoted to his wife, Javene, and survived by children Eric and Selena, siblings Darrell, Delores, and Darwin, and eight grandchildren with two great-grandchildren.
Don was a notoriously hard worker, reflected both in his career and his hobbies. He served as an Army mechanic during the Korean War, achieving the rank of Sergeant. He made a lasting impact as a math teacher at Dodge County High School, and had a distinguished 30-year career at Western Electric/AT&T. Don competed in 14 marathons, over 200 road races, and four BRAG events. He was also an avid outdoorsmen, as well as photographer, bird watcher, and motorcycle enduro racer.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on February 17th at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Rhine at 11:30am.
