MOULTRIE, GA - Alfred "Al" Preston Gregory, 79, of Moultrie, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Pastor Nick Dawson officiating. The family will receive friends after the service on Thursday at Cobb Funeral Chapel. Born August 7, 1944, in Moultrie, GA, he was the son of the late James Medfred Gregory and Louise Dorman Gregory. Mr. Al, as he was known to everyone, was a very quiet and devoted family man. He was a father and grandfather who adored and loved his family dearly. Mr. Al was a graduate of the University of Georgia and remained a diehard Bulldogs fan his entire life. He was a skilled salesman and treasured his relationships with his many clients. He enjoyed spending time at the beach with his family. Mr. Al was a faithful believer in Christ and attended Trinity Baptist Church for many years. Survivors include his beloved wife, Patricia M. Gregory; daughters, Mary Allison Toler and husband Frank, and Reney Gregory Stanley and husband David; grandchildren, Benjamin Toler, Sophia Toler, Sarah Stanley and Ella Stanley; brother, James Gregory; sister, Carol Bruce; and a number of extended family members and friends.
