NEWTON, Ga. -- Robert Price Hall, Jr., 79, of Newton died Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Willson Hospice House in Albany.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 5, 2017 at
Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home Chapel in Camilla with interment in Newton City Cemetery. Rev. James Sanders will officiate.
Born November 25, 1937 in Albany, he was the son of the late Robert Price Hall, Sr., and Sara Cochran Hall. He graduated from The Baylor School in Chattanooga, TN in 1955 where he was a member of the varsity basketball team. He later attended ABAC and South Georgia College. He was employed
by the Baker County Bank and then for several years by Sherwin-Williams Paint Co. in Albany, Atlanta and Moultrie, Ga. Upon his return to his native Baker County, he then worked in sales for Wetherbee Electric Company (later CED) until his retirement. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman. Like his father and grandfather before him, he chaired the Baker County Commission.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Dianne Hay Hall of Newton; sons, Robert P. Hall, III, Washington, DC and James C. Hall of Newton; daughters, Dee Dee Hall-Burnum (Lamar) of Newton and Martha Hall Nolf (Kenny) of Camilla; granddaughters, Alex Helvey (Ricky) of Athens, Cori Burnum of Cairo and Lindsey Nolf of Camilla; grandsons, Nathan Nolf of Newton, Tanner Nolf of Camilla and Griffin Nolf of Camilla; brother, Henry Hall (Bettye) of Macon; sisters, Sara Jane Dozier (David) of Eufaula, AL
and Louise Pearson (Jimmy) of Montgomery, AL.
Visitation will be 4-6 p.m., Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Parker-Bramlett
Funeral Home in Camilla.
