MOULTRIE, Ga. -- Robert E. Bryant, 92, of Moultrie, Ga., died Sunday, February 12, 2017 at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Autreyville Baptist Church with the Rev. Ricky McLaughlin officiating and assisted by the Rev. Robert McCoy. Interment, with military honors, will follow in Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens.
Casketbearers will be Kenny Bennett, Larry Hood, Curtis Samples, Donald Jones, Joe Paul and Eric Carelock.
Born October 18, 1924 in Detroit, MI, he was the son of the late Alfred Lee Bryant and Syblle Marie Mobley Bryant. He was a United States Army veteran and was a recipient of the Purple Heart military award, Victory Medal, American Theater Ribbon and a European-African Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon with 2 Bronze Battle Stars. Mr. Bryant was a member of Autreyville Baptist Church and Moultrie Church of God. He was a retired truck driver with Interstate Motor Freight.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Betty Jean Neino Bryant of Moultrie, Ga.; daughter, Judy Bryant Woodward and husband Lewis of Moultrie, Ga.; two grandchildren, Ann-Mariea Woodward Dabdoub and husband Craig, Judith Ashlea Woodward Fuller and husband Josh; four great-grandchildren, Eva-Marie Woodward Eunice, Jayah Sky Fuller, Ava Fuller and Mariah Reign Fuller.
The family will receive friends from 6:00PM - 8:00PM Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
