DOTHAN, Ala. -- Nonadell Reid Durham, 88, of Dothan, Ala., formerly of Moultrie, Ga., passed on to heaven Wednesday, March 1, 2017.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Cobb Funeral Chapel in Moultrie, Ga., with Dr. Johnny Fain and the Rev. Dennis Taylor officiating. Interment with Danny Durham officiating will follow in Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
A visitation will also be held 3:00 PM -4:30 PM CST Friday, March 3, 2017 at the Parlor of First Baptist Church in Dothan, Ala.
Casketbearers will be Drew Durham, Davis Durham, Graham Durham, Wesley Fain, Asher Durham, Josiah Durham, Brandon Hughes and Jonathan Hughes.
Mrs. Durham was a loving wife for 65 years, mother, and grandmother. She was also a hairdresser for over 40 years. She loved the Lord with all her heart and taught her children to do the same.
Mrs. Durham was preceded in death by her father, Herman Reid, mother, Georgia Reid Courtney, and brother, Dale Courtney.
Surviving relatives include her husband, William C. Durham of
Dothan, Ala.; 7 children, Diana Mayhall of Birmingham, Ala., David Durham and wife, Debbie, of Moultrie, Debbie Fain and husband, Johnny, of Dothan, Ala., Billy Durham and wife, Sherri, of Titusville, Fla., Danny Durham and wife, Julie, of Hamilton, Ga., Laura Taylor and husband, Dennis, of Leesburg, Ga., and Holly Hughes and husband, Brad, of Sumner, Ga.; 17 grandchildren, Donna Durham Edwards, Drew Durham and wife, Jordan, and Diana Durham, all of Moultrie, Ga., Davis Durham of Hanover, Va., Melody Greene and husband, Ben, of Birmingham, Ala., Wesley Fain and wife, Stephanie, of Birmingham, Ala., Josiah Durham and wife, Lisa, of Columbia, S.C., Asher Durham of Lubbock, Texas, Chloe Durham of Titusville, Fla., Jordan, Graham, and Anna Durham of Hamilton, Ga., Carsen and Mackenzie Taylor of Leesburg, Ga., and Brandon, Jonathan, and Rebekah Hughes of Sumner, Ga.; sister-in-law, Candace Courtney of Atlanta, GA.
