MOULTRIE, Ga. -- Melba Ealon Redding White, 88, of Moultrie, Ga., died Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Cobblestone Health and Rehabilitation in Moultrie, GA.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Cooper officiating. Interment will be in Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens.
Honorary casketbearers will be Mrs. White's grandchildren.
Born May 7, 1929 in Moultrie, GA., she was the daughter of the late Corry Neal Redding and Burma Myrtle Smith Redding. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Lester White, Sr.; daughter RogerLyn Brock; sons-in-law, Lavon Brock and Jason Bradley.
Survivors include six children, Betty Reynolds and Julian of Boston, GA., John Lester White, Jr. and Teresa of Cairo, GA., Curtis Wayne White and Julie of Cleveland, OH., Corry White and Dottie, Gary White and Lynn all of Moultrie, GA., Jerri Bradley of Coolidge, GA.; twenty-four grandchildren, thirty-nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM -11:00 AM Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
