MOULTRIE -- Mrs. Lula Bell Washington Davis, 83, entered into rest on Monday, June 26, 2017 at Pruitt Health Sunrise.
Funeral service will be at 12 noon, Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the St. James Pallbearers Cemetery #1, with the repast to conclude at the George Walker Fellowship Hall.
Lula was born on July 12, 1933 in Thomasville, Georgia to late Joseph "Sim" Washington and Lillie Russell Washington.
She was preceded in death by her husband Freddie Davis, Sr.; and son Isaac Washington; 4 sisters, Bertha Anglin, Josephine Dye, Sarah Harvey and Blanche Perry; and 2 brothers, Charlie Washington and John Washington, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memories 5 sons, John (Sharon) Washington of Winter Garden, Florida, Freddie(De'De) Davis of Brooksville, Florida, James Williams of Winter Garden, Florida, Preston (Monica) Williams and Thomas (Sherrie) Williams both of Moultrie, Georgia; 4 daughters, Cynthia Washington of Moultrie, Georgia, Patricia Johnson of Winter Garden, Florida, Corine Davis and Lucy (Frankie) Peterson both of Moultrie, Georgia; sister, Lillie Estelle (John) of New Jersey, New York; and a host of 27 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.
Final arrangements were entrusted to Luke Strong And Son Mortuary, Ltd.
