MOULTRIE, Ga. -- Jane Seat Neal, 80, of Moultrie, Georgia died Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
Funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Monday, August 14, 2017 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Brad Bowen and David Oaks officiating. Interment will follow in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.
Casketbearers will be Grover Reeves, Adam Reeves, Joel Reeves, Drew Krenkel, Adam Tenny, David York and Rickey Jenkins.
Born October 12, 1936 in Palestine, Texas she was the daughter of the late John and Ruby Jones Seat. After graduating from Cayuga High School, she spent most of her life in Edcouch, Texas where she and husband, Winifred Joel "Dub" Neal, owned and operated Dub Neal Aircraft, Inc. She also worked for many years as an office manager for Vahlsing in The Rio Grande Valley of Texas. In 1992, Dub and Jane relocated to Moultrie in order to be near family. During her years in Moultrie, Jane worked at the Colquitt County Arts Center, Magnolia Restaurant, Browning Brass Key Realty, and Pruitt Health Magnolia Manor South. Jane was an Avon Representative for forty years. Locally, she was known for her superior pie making skills, her bridge game, and her love for tennis. Jane was a member of Heritage Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ruby Seat, her husband Dub Neal and her son Ronald Ray Neal.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryle Neal Reeves and husband Roy, her grandchildren: Lacey Neal, Joel Reeves, Kate Krenkel and husband Drew, Ivey Jane Tenny and husband Adam, three great grandchildren: Skylar, Layla and London, her sisters: Wanda Allen, Lynda York, Mary Kolstad and Martha Duphorne, special family friend Elvia Salinas.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 PM Monday prior to the funeral service.
The family request memorials be made to Heritage Church.
