MOULTRIE, Ga. -- Charles Malcolm "Mack" McCoy, 62, of Moultrie, Ga., died Friday, June 9, 2017 in Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
Funeral service will be held at 4:00PM Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Julian Griner officiating. Interment will follow in Greenfield Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be Bucky Miller, Jacob Miller, Blake White, Derrick Pitts, Gavin Steptoe and Joel White. Honorary casketbearers will be Kurt White and the co-workers from Maule Aircraft.
Born October 8, 1954 in Moultrie, Ga., he was the son of the late William Malcolm McCoy and Myrtice Ilene Barfield McCoy. Mr. McCoy was a machinist with Maule Aircraft for 27 years and was a member of Lifespring Community Church. His family remembers how he loved to fish and work on old cars. Mr. McCoy was an avid Atlanta Braves and a Colquitt Co. Packer fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Faye Maxwell.
Survivors include his wife, Dianne Miller McCoy of Moultrie, Ga.; three children, Crystal Bairley, Ashley McCoy and Charles Malcom McCoy, Jr., all of Winter Haven, Fla.; five grandchildren, Xavier Bairley, Shyann McCoy, Lucas McCoy, Bryce Bodiford and Dylan Bodiford; two stepsons, Chris Bodiford of Jacksonville, Fla., and Josh Bodiford of Thomasville, Ga.; sister, Ann Richardson of Alapaha, Ga.; three brothers, Michael McCoy, Mark McCoy and Dallas McCoy, all of Alapaha, Ga.; special chihuahua friend, Sammy.
The family will receive friends from 3:00PM -4:00PM Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
