HARTSFIELD, Ga. -- Yuba Mae Johnson Crawford, 94, of Hartsfield, Ga., left this earth for her heavenly home on November 5, 2017 just 19 days short of her 95th birthday.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Ralph Harrell officiating. Interment will follow in Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens.
Casketbearers will be Johnny McCook, Brandon McCook, Aubryn Crawford III, Bobby Cobb and Sammy Williamson.
Born November 24, 1922 in Lowndes County, she was the daughter of the late Armajie Benjamin Johnson and Mary Margaret Taylor Johnson. Mrs. Crawford was loved by all who knew her and called "Nanny" by most.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Willie Aubryn Crawford, Sr.; daughter, Joyce Patricia Crawford; three brothers, Alvin Johnson, Kelly Johnson and Luther Johnson; sister, Margaret Pedigo.
Survivors include a son, Willie A. Crawford, Jr. and Linda Faye of Hartsfield, Ga.; daughter, Brenda C. Edwards of Hartsfield, Ga.; sister-in-law, Alvie Asbell Norman; six grandchildren that loved her dearly, Darlene Moss of Hartsfield, Ga., Del Keene and Robin of Gatesville, TX., Mary Mash and Billy of Thomasville, Ga., Lee Ann Jarvis of Moultrie, Ga., Denise McCook and Johnny, Aubryn Crawford III, all of Funston, Ga. Mrs. Crawford was also blessed with twelve great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00PM-8:00PM Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
