HARTSFIELD, GA.- Travis Donzell "Don" Webb Sr., 75, of Hartsfield, died Saturday, September 2, 2017 at his residence.
Memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Terry Webb, Rev. Brad Bowen and Mr. Buddy Brinkley officiating.
Born September 26, 1941 in Hartsfield, GA. He was the son of the late James William Webb and Gladys Stephenson Webb. Mr. Webb retired with 26 years from Swift and Company. Don was a Christian and a member Hartsfield Methodist Church, gave his life to the Lord on July 7, 2017 and he finished well. He loved the outdoors and instilled the love of fishing and hunting with his grandchildren. Enjoyed flowers, Gardening, and was known for the best pecan pie in Colquitt County.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters Daphine Barrett, Hilda Wooten and brother Wandell Webb.
Survivors include his wife, Renae Willis Webb of Moultrie; three sons Donzell Webb Jr. and wife Montae of Moultrie, Ricky Webb and wife Cyndi of Hartsfield, Kevin Webb of Tifton; step son Dale Curles and wife Tonya of Putney; step daughter Melissa Benton of Hahira; grandchildren Cara Perry and husband Ken, Colby Johnson, Blake Webb, Lane Webb, Gavin Benton and Baylee Curles; great grandchildren Bryleigh Webb, Preston Perry and John Parker Perry.
