MOULTRIE, Ga. -- Tony Pernille Simpson, 21, of Moultrie, GA. died Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Lakeside Assembly of God with Rev. John Green and Rev. Eric Segers officiating. Interment will follow in Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens.
Casketbearers will be Andy Bush, Colby Reneker, Mack Hathcock, Pax Newsome, Tristin Frazier, Daniel Mobley, Jacob Garza, Ryan Pipkin and Wade Hawes.
Honorary casketbearers will be former Coaches, Football and Baseball Players of the 2014 Colquitt County Packers.
Born December 14, 1995 in Moultrie, Ga., he was the son of Amanda Brumbley Simpson and Anthony Pernille Simpson Jr. Tony was a 2014 graduate of the Colquitt County High School. He had a passion for playing baseball and football. Tony was a former Packer Baseball and Football player wearing #2 jersey in baseball and the #32 in football. Tony never met a stranger, he could always make people laugh and had a contagious smile. Tony enjoyed spending time with his friends, shooting pool and making songs with his brother Anthony. He loved being outside, hunting, fishing and spending time with his dog Blu. His loving personality left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
He was preceded in death by his niece, Aaliyah Brielle Ray.
Survivors include his parents Amanda Brumbley Simpson and Anthony Pernille Simpson Jr. of Valdosta, GA.; his sister Kayla Brumbley Johnson and husband D'ante of Valdosta, GA.; his brother Anthony Ryan Brumbley and wife Jasmaine of Walthourville, GA.; his significant other Anna Marie Garza of Moultrie, GA.; niece Amirah Raine Brumbley; nephew Kaisen Reid Brumbley; his grandparents and other family members.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M.- 8:00 P.M. Friday, July 21, 2017 at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
