MOULTRIE, Ga. -- Todd Anthony Parker, 50, of Moultrie, died December 29, 2017 at Emory University Hospital.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Heritage Church with the Rev. Brad Bowen officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memory Gardens.
Casket bearers will be Steve Stripling, Randy Knight, Glen Fowler, Sonny Presley, Ed Statom, Joey Brinson, Dewayne Hall, Lavon Stripling, Andy Parker and Greg Allyn.
Born July 6, 1967 in St. Mary's County, Maryland. He was the son of Glenn and Lou Beth Parker. Mr. Parker was the operator of South Georgia Erosion Control. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, playing cards, volleyball and was all about his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father and son.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Horace and Ida Vernon Parker and James and Marolyn Baell; father- and mother-in-law, Larry Joe and Patty Tomlinson; grandmother-in-law, Margaret Waters Rose.
Survivors include his wife Joy Tomlinson Parker of Moultrie; children Brittany Parker and fiance Micah Edwards of Moultrie, Gabe Parker of Moultrie and Hanna Parker of Moultrie; sisters Stephanie Fudge and Larry of Valdosta, Donna Michels of Savannah, Mikki Benford and Peter of Hartsfield; brothers-in-law Joey Tomlinson and Kim of Moultrie, Brad Tomlinson and Brianne of Moultrie; several nieces and nephews and other family members.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 2, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
The family requests memorials be made to a children's charity and/or those with special needs.
Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
