Tammie Baker Pettyjohn


MOULTRIE -- Tammie Baker Pettyjohn, 59, of Moultrie, died Friday, February 8, 2019 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Daniel Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be Nathan Cowen, Daniel Jones, Adam Reynolds, Corey Baker, Craig Gregory and Erik Fraiser. Honorary casketbearer will be Ferris John Flowers.
Born December 28, 1959 in Moultrie, she was the daughter of the late James Floyd Baker and Gladys Irene Riggs Baker. She was a retired seamstress with Wilvereen and was a member of Lifespring Community Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Audie Gene Pettyjohn and one brother, Michael Baker.
Survivors include one son, James Shannon Baker and Staci of Jacksonville, Fla.; four grandchildren, Tori Baker, Aidan Baker, Chloe Baker and Emma Baker; two sisters-in-law, Teresa Cox and Lynton of Moultrie and Debbie Baker of Valdosta; three nieces, Haley Cowen and Nathan, Whitlee Jones and Daniel and Hanna Cox; one brother, Jeff Baker and Dottie of Ellenton; one sister, Judy May and Roger of Ellenton and other family members.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
