MOULTRIE, Ga. -- Samuel Lindsey Brigman, Sr., 83, of Moultrie, Ga., died Sunday, October 15, 2017 at his home peacefully during his sleep.
Graveside rites will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Westview Cemetery with Chaplain Skip Van Nus officiating.
Born December 13, 1933 in Winnsboro, S.C., he was the son of the late Pearl Eugene Brigman and Lillie Bell Reynolds Brigman. Mr. Brigman was a United States Air Force veteran serving for 4 years and a Navy Reserve veteran serving for 6 years. He retired from Liberty National Life Insurance Company after 23 years of service. His family remembers him as an avid sportsman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Faye Foreman Brigman of Moultrie, Ga.; daughter, Donna Faye Brigman Helrich and Dr. Alan Helrich of Sarasota, Fla.; sons Darren Brigman and Dawn of Moultrie, Ga., Samuel Brigman, Jr. of Vicksburg, MS.; five grandchildren, Christi Barber, Brian Barber, Lindsey Barber, Kathryn Brigman and Aaron Casey.
