MOULTRIE, Ga. -- Sallie Belle Gunn Blalock, 102, of Moultrie, Ga., died Sunday, December 17, 2017 at her home.
Funeral service will be held 2:00PM Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Moultrie Church of God with the Rev. James Tyson and the Rev. Paul Baker officiating. Interment will follow in Wright's Chapel Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be Randy Tyson, Keith Blalock, Doug Wyrosdick, Alvin Thomas, Josh Wickett and Michael Wickett.
Born April 24, 1915 in Worth County Ga., she was the daughter of the late Evander Gunn and Anzor Missouri Scott Gunn. Mrs. Blalock was a homemaker and a member of Moultrie Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Armond Blalock; daughters, Brenda Sue Wickett and Linda Darlene Wyatt; sons, James Armond Blalock and Ronnie Blalock.
Survivors include daughters, Mary Lene Troller of Wahneta, Fla., Glenda Thomas and fiance Randall Freeman of Moultrie, Ga.; sons, Hershel Blalock of Moultrie, Ga., Tony Blalock and Susan of Lake Wales, Fla., Travis Blalock of Moultrie, Ga.; over 125 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren and other family members.
The family will receive friends from 1:00PM-2:00PM Thursday at Moultrie Church of God.
Mrs. Blalock will lie in state on Wednesday at the family residence.
