MOULTRIE, Ga. -- Opal Vinson Taylor, 90, of Moultrie, Ga., died Thursday, June 29, 2017 at her home.
Funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Brother Wayne Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be Taylor Bachelor, Troy Willeby, Aaron Carter, Danny Ball, Jimmie Shelton and Jeffrey Willeby.
Born December 13, 1926 in Moultrie, Ga., she was the daughter of the late John Ball and Lena Webb Ball. Mrs. Taylor was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant from Brownwood Nursing Home and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Monroe Taylor; daughters, Brenda Vinson and Jerri Vinson; granddaughter, Lisa Willeby.
Survivors include daughter, Nerita Taylor Bachelor and Richard of Moultrie, GA.; 11 grandchildren, Chancey Taylor and Amanda of Norman Park, GA., Wade Hall and Heather of Norman Park, GA., Bridget Hall and John of Moultrie, GA., Lynn Bachelor of Albany, GA., Taylor Bachelor, Daphne Willeby- Rabon, Jeffery Willeby all of Moultrie, GA., Troy Willeby, Staci Bryant, Tony Johns and Kyle Johns; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Coroine Haire of Pelham, Ga.
The family will receive friends from 3:00PM -4:00PM Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
