Nathan Lamar Jones Heaven received a very loving and kind man, Nathan Lamar "Bulldog" Jones, on February 6th in Anderson, CA. He was born in Moultrie and a proud graduate of the class of 1955. He was a proud Army man - a honor guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, an Airborne Ranger, an expert rifle marksman among many others. He was a true southern gentleman, an excellent dancer and loved to travel. His twinkling eyes and warm heart will be missed by many friends and family. Services will be held March 4th, at 11:00 with military honors at the Central Coast Veteran Cemetery in Seaside, CA. No flowers - please donate to the charity of your choice.

Lamar was my stepfather. He loved the Army !! He was a very good man! Would give you the shirt off his back. Kind, patient and fun. He enjoyed a great bowl of Georgia ice cream.
Lamar was my family. I’ll love him forever.
I miss you so much already.

I remember Lamar as always smiling and friendly to everyone. Last time I saw him was at a class reunion and he was totally enjoying himself and dancing the night away. My heart is with his family and friends. Kathryn Pulled McCormick, Ocala, FL

I have so many good memories of uncle Lamar. Every time he came home to Moultrie, he would tell stories of growing up and Army memories. He always made us laugh. He loved good food and good conversation. He will truly missed.
