MOULTRIE, Ga. -- Martha Jane Coleman Gay, 74, of Moultrie, GA died Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Midway Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in Midway Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Casket Bearers will be Plenn Hunnicutt, Tim DeMott, Michael Edwards, Matt Sauls, Tracy Gay and Clay Griffin.
Born September 13, 1943 she was the daughter of the late Isaac Fuller Coleman and Mary Ricks Coleman. She was a homemaker, member of Union Baptist Church of Doerun, received an Associate Degree from Abraham Baldwin College in business administration and a longtime resident of the Midway Community.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Carl Edward "Jackie" Gay.
Survivors include her son Roger Carl Gay of Moultrie, GA; daughter Pam Gay Harvin and husband Lee of Moultrie, GA; grandchildren Christopher Lee Harvin and Andrew Samuel Harvin; sister Betty Griffin; brother Randall Coleman; brother in law and sister in law Martha and Bobby Gay and Jerry and Wanda Edmondson; sister in law Mary Alice Gay; many nieces, nephews and other family members.
The family will receive friends Monday, October 2, 2017 at Cobb Funeral Chapel from 6:00 -8:00 PM.
