MOULTRIE, Ga. -- Marjorie Hunt Hooks Burnham, 76, died Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Ralph Harrell officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be Josh Burnham, Chris Burnham, Nick Burnham, Paul Hughes, David Strayer and Mike Jones.
Born August 12, 1940 she was the daughter of the late Lenoy Hunt and the late Willene Singletary Hunt. She was a homemaker and formerly a secretary for Riverside Manufacturing Company. She was a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church. Mrs. Burnham loved to shop at Dillards and Belks.
Survivors include her husband Richard Wayne Burnham of Moultrie, Ga.; children Scotty Hooks of Moultrie, Ga., Marty Hooks of Doerun, Ga., Connie Hooks Kilgore and husband Donnie of Moultrie, Ga., Doug Hooks and wife Penny of Dadeville, Ala.; stepchildren Tim Burnham and wife Jan of Norman Park, Ga., Jimmy Burnham and wife Carolyn of Arabi, Ga., Jill Hunter and husband Keith of Baconton, Ga.; grandchildren Missy Vann, Krista Taylor, Dale Hughes and husband Paul, Devin Hooks,; stepgrandchildren David Strayer, Traci Kennedy, Nick Burnham, Leesa Jones, Josh Burnham and Chris Burnham,; twelve great-grandchildren; sister Hilda Cedillos and husband Ray of Hartsfield, Ga.; brother Chester Hunt of Hartsfield, Ga.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 21, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
