MOULTRIE, Ga. -- Marion Denson Barr Harvey, 93, of Moultrie, Ga. died Monday, June 12, 2017 at her home.
Funeral service will be held 4:00 PM Friday, June 16, 2017 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Bishop Chris Watts officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be John Godwin, Andrew Godwin, William Von Taffee, Jonathan Hanson, Mikael Hanson and John White III.
Born February 5, 1924 in Macon, Ga., she was the daughter of the late William Denson Barr and Irene Theresa Bussell Barr. Mrs. Harvey was a homemaker and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Curtis Harvey.
Survivors include three daughters, Marion Chere Humphries and Charles of Macon, Ga., Irene Theresa Godwin of Moultrie, Ga and Kelly Jane White of Savannah, Ga.; son George Ashley Harvey of Arizona; stepdaughter, Mildred Walker of Groveland, FL.; sixteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; sister, Eleanor Pruitt of Empire, Ga.
The family will receive friends from 3:00PM -4:00PM Friday, June 16, 2017 at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
