WINCHESTER, TN.- Lydia Zara Law Matthews, 89, of Winchester, Tn, formerly of Moultrie, Ga., passed away Friday, May 12, 2017 at Laurel Oaks Retirement Living in Winchester, Tn.
Graveside rites will be held 4:00 PM, Sunday, May 14, 2017 in Hopewell Church Cemetery with the Rev. Saunders "Sonny" Pinckard officiating.
Born October 10, 1927 in Moultrie, Ga.; she was the daughter of the late G. Gaston Law and Emma Irene Farmer Law. She was a homemaker and was of the Methodist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy D. Matthews; brothers, James Law and Curtis Law.
Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Gail Matthews Ferguson and Gerald of Estill Springs, Tn., Janet Elaine Matthews Peterson and Duane of Manchester, Tn.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild; three sisters, Irene Cox, Nadine Davis and Betty Hall; several nieces and nephews and other family members.
