MOULTRIE, GA. -- Lillian Ruth Newton Hall, 83, of Moultrie, Ga., died Thursday, November 23, 2017 at her home.
Graveside rites will be held at 2:00PM Sunday, November 26, 2017 at New Bethel Cemetery with the Rev. David Oaks and the Rev. David Brown officiating.
Casketbearers will be John Michael Hall, Tyler Hall, Ian Fritzsche, Stephen Adcock, Christian Edwards and Danny Baker.
Born May 30, 1934 in Molton, Ala., she was the daughter of the late William Roy Newton and Sallie Maude Jenkins Newton. Mrs. Hall was the owner of Barbecue Pit and a member of Heritage Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, William L. "Bill" Hall Sr; brother, Earl Newton; sister, Sandy Markley.
Survivors include four children, William L. "Billy" Hall Jr. and Nina of Moultrie, Ga., Teri Lynn Bowen of Madison, Fla., Keith Hall of Moultrie, Ga., Tim Hall and Becky of Gainesville, Fla.; eight grandchildren, Melanie Welch, Tiffani Fritzsche, Taylor Bowen, John Michael Hall, Kristin Adcock, Anna Edwards, Tyler Hall and Kathryn Hall; ten great-grandchildren, Lillian Fritzsche, Bowen Fritzsche, Kira Welch, Shania Bryant, Aria Bowen, Lydia Hall, Mia Jade Hall, Daniel Adcock, Emelie Adcock and Aslan Edwards; four sisters, Jo Baker of Moultrie, Ga., Katie Rogers, Judy Bannister and Doris Franks all of Lake City, Fla.; two brothers, Doyle Newton of Orlando, Fla., Lowell Newton of Nashville, Tn.; step-son, Todd Hall and Summer of Moultrie, Ga.; step-grandchildren, Michael Hall, Calvin Hall and Davis Hall.
The family will receive friends from 5:00PM-7:00PM Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
