MOULTRIE, Ga. -- Leslee Brown Baell, 70, of Moultrie, Ga., died Monday, June 12, 2017 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 16, 2017 at Heritage Church with the Rev. Brad Bowen officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be Mike Allegood, Wayne Floyd, Johnny Ray, Jay Cranford, Mickey Cochran, Randy Benner and Roy Reeves.
Born April 1, 1947 in Miami, Fla., she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Livingston Brown and Helen Vetter Brown Schultz. Mrs. Baell received a degree in Psychology and Sociology at Georgia State University and started her career as a social worker and taught English at C.C.H.S. Her true calling was in the field of Christian counseling where she was a director of the Hope House. She was a church member and director of the counseling ministry at Heritage Church. Mrs. Baell's passion was sharing her faith and helping others come into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
In addition to his parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather Joseph L. Schultz.
Survivors include her husband and high school sweetheart of 49 years, James Roland "Bo" Baell of Moultrie, Ga.; three children, Lara Baell Littleton and Matt of Moultrie, Ga., Kenneth Brad Baell and Karyn of Lakeville, Minn., Bryan Roland Baell and Jenn of St. Augustine, Fla.; nine grandchildren, Alex Littleton, Ryan Littleton, Courtney Baell, Jack Baell, Emily Baell, Kate Baell, Nick Baell, Rowan Baell and Gia Baell; brother, Kenneth L. "Butch" Brown, and Jean of Thomasville, Ga.; half-sister, Cheryl Wood and James of Pasadena, Md.
The family will receive friends from 6:00PM -8:00PM Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
