Juanita's Story

Text size

Juanita Alexine Eades went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, September 25 after living a full life worth celebrating. She was filled with joy and hope, and everyone who knew Juanita felt the love and compassion she had for others. She exemplified the character of Christ by always putting others first, and she sacrificed her own time and resources so that others might not be in want. She lived a humble life, and "counted others more significant than herself."
Juanita was born in Mount Sterling, Kentucky. She was a Navy wife, and lived all over the USA before settling in Winchester, Kentucky. During her time in Kentucky, she was actively involved at Eastland Church of God and in the lives of many of her neighbors and friends. She moved to Moultrie, Georgia in the 1990s to be closer to family, and she lived out the rest of her days there. She was a member of Friendship Church, and was loved deeply by its congregation. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Neal Eades and her children Stanley Neal Eades Jr., Susan Eades and Jeffery Joseph Eades. She is survived by her son Gregory Eades, her granddaughters Erin Eades Francisco and Melissa Eades Richie, their husbands, and six great-grandchildren, who inherited her love of peanut butter and general mischief-making.
There will be a private family service in Winchester, Kentucky later this fall to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Friendship Church in her honor. "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints." Psalm 116:15.
