MOULTRIE, Ga. - Johnny Junior Williams, 84, of Moultrie, GA., died Monday, October 2, 2017 at Cobblestone Health and Rehabilitation.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Stephen Massey officiating. Interment will follow in Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens.
Casketbearers will be Chip Jackson, Jason Williams, Jon Williams, Will Southwell, C.J. Spivey and Mike Arnold.
Born June 25, 1933 in Coffee County Alabama, he was the son of the late Millard Williams and Virginia Boutwell Williams. Mr. Williams retired from Gold Kist Peanut Company as a plant superintendent and former owner of Green Thumb Nursery. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack Williams and Jimmy Williams.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Inez Driggers Williams of Moultrie, GA.; son, Danny Williams of Clover, S.C.; two daughters, Connie W. Southwell and Edgar, Cathy W. Smith, all of Moultrie, GA.; six grandchildren, Jason Williams and Lacy, Jon Williams and Jennifer, Alison Williams, all of Clover, S.C., Chip Jackson and Lynn of Bloomingdale, GA., Denver Smith Spivey and C.J. of Hartsfield, GA., Will Southwell and Megan of Moultrie, GA.; twelve great-grandchildren; two brothers, Carlton Williams and Janice of Rexmont, PA, Jerry Williams and Margie of New Brockton, AL.; three sisters, Inez Meriweather and Fred, Mary Williams all of Enterprise, AL., Sue Pouncey and Robert of New Brockton, AL. and other family members.
The family will receive friends from 6:00PM-8:00PM Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
