MOULTRIE, Ga. -- John Steve Bolin, 67, of Moultrie, GA. died Saturday, December 23, 2017 at his home.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Billy Smith and Rev. Billy Wilkes officiating. Special friends John and Chrissie Forehand will be speaking also. Interment will follow in Zion Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Bolin's grandsons will serve as casketbearers.
Born December 18, 1950 in Dothan, AL., he was the son of the late Young Bolin and the late Quida Wylene Benton. Mr. Bolin was retired from Riverside Manufacturing and a school bus driver for Colquitt County Board of Education. He loved fishing and driving for the Colquitt County Packers.
Survivors include his wife, Laverne Barlow Bolin of Moultrie, Ga.; daughters, Dana Crosby and husband Tommy of Moultrie, Christie Chestnut and husband Jason of Sardis, Ga., Melissa Williams and husband Brad of Ochlocknee, Ga.; stepchildren, Glenn Holloway and wife Fronia of Thomasville, Ga., Stacey Holloway and wife Janet of Hahira, Ga., Miranda Dalton and husband Allen of Moultrie, Ga.; grandchildren, Leah Kornegah and husband Steven, Jordan Williams, Drake Davis, Trent Williams, great-grandchildren, Sophie Kornegah, Emma Kay Williams, Jeremy Holloway and wife Raven, Jeffery Holloway, Devin Smith, Jessica Kenyon and husband Chad, Nikki Miller and husband Fred, Bean Dalton; great-great-grandchildren, Paxton Miller, Ryder Miller, Brodie Kenyon, and Holland Holloway.
The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
