JoAnn Butler Holloway MOULTRIE -- JoAnn Butler Holloway, 81, of Moultrie, died Saturday, February 9, 2019 at her home.
Graveside rites were 10:00 AM Monday, February 11, 2019 at New Elm Cemetery. A Celebration of Life was held 10:30 A.M. Monday at her home with the Rev. Trey Eakins officiating.
Born January 19, 1938 in Moultrie, she was the daughter of Edward Barnard Butler and Lillie Bell Bennett Butler Austin. She was a retired clerical worker with Colquitt Regional Medical Center and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, G.W. Holloway and one brother, Edward B. "Junior" Butler.
Survivors include her children, Rodney Gene Holloway and wife Angela of Moultrie, Pamela H. Etheredge and husband Greg of Moultrie, Penny H. Tuzo and husband Mark of Panama City, Fl. and Nancy H. Patterson of Moultrie; seven grandchildren, Justin Tatum and wife Katie, Travis Tatum and Megan, Randi Tatum Davis and husband Nick, Amanda Roberts and husband Jeffery, Chase Holloway, Samantha Jarvis and husband Josh, Connor Patterson; seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
Cobb Funeral Chapel was entrusted with arrangements.

We are so sorry to here about the loss of your mother. JoAnn was such a nice lady. We know she will be missed. We know her and Aunt Lillie Bell are having a great reunion. Praying for the family.

I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet Mother. She was always happy and full of life! When we worked together at the hospital, she was so giving of her time and thoughtfulness. I will be praying for all the family.
