MOULTRIE, Ga. -- Jerry Donnice Tillman, 72, of Moultrie, Ga., passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016 at his home, after a courageous battle with melanoma skin cancer.
Private graveside rites will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2016 with the Rev. Alan Tillman officiating.
Born September 4, 1944 in Colquitt County, he was the son of the late Odis Tillman and Dollie Stripling Tillman. He was a United States Army 101st Airborne Division veteran. Mr. Tillman was a farmer and a member of China Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy D. Tillman.
Survivors include two sons, Scott Tillman and April, Clay Tillman all of Moultrie, Ga., two daughters, Angela Tillman and Chad, Stephanie Hollandsworth and Michael, all of Moultrie, Ga.; seven grandchildren, Hannah Hollandsworth, Ethan Hollandsworth, Lily Claire Tillman, Henry Tillman, Hayden Tillman, Daley Scott and Dalton Scott, all of Moultrie, Ga.; two brothers, Dean Tillman and MarySue, Lamar Tillman and Ann, all of Moultrie, Ga., three sisters, Linda Stanfill and Jacky of Moultrie, Ga., Diane Reinhart and Mike of Tallahassee, Fla., Martha Kate Martin and Ed of McCungie, Pa.
