Mr. Jed Lee Kimbrel, 36, of Doles died on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Phoebe Worth Medical Center.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, December 21, 2017 in the Red Oak Cemetery. The Rev. Rob Gray will officiate.
Mr. Kimbrel was born on December 07, 1981 in Albany. He had lived in Worth County for the past 10 years. Mr. Kimbrel was employed as a Sales Service Representative for Lasseter Tractor Company in Moultrie. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching college football, especially the Georgia Bulldogs. Mr. Kimbrels life was full of many things he loved but the greatest love of his life was his family. He was a faithful member of Red Oak Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Sophia Tison Kimbrel of Doles; mother, Kay K. Tinney (David Shreckengost) of Leary; father, Charles Kimbrel (Sherry) of Blakely; sister, Leah K. Baird (Timothy) of Baker County; brother, Joshua Kimbrel (Nicole) of Monticello, FL; maternal grandmother, Bernice Lee of Leary; mother & father-in-law, Warren & Vickie Tison; nephew, James Baird; niece, Georgia Grae Kimbrel; brother-in-law, Clifton Tison; step-brothers, Mason Turner and Clayton Turner; and canine companions, Cotton, Zippy and Fagen.
Mr. Kimbrel was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Luther Lee; paternal grandparents, Buford & Irisa Kimbrel.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 PM at Banks Funeral Home.
