MOULTRIE, Ga. -- James Myron Croft, 78, of Moultrie, Ga., died Friday, November 3, 2017 at Cobblestone Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Mr. Eric Croft and Mr. Heath Croft officiating. Interment will follow in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.
Casket bearers will be James Bullington, Stevie Sheffield, Cason Conger, Jimmy Dickerson, Geoffrey Kudela, Jerry Tillman and Richard Norman.
Born February 3, 1939 in Moultrie, Ga., he was the son of the late Jim Austin Croft and the late Louannie Sorrell Croft. Mr. Croft was formerly associated with Moultrie Coca-Cola and was a retired hardware salesman with Baell Merchantile Company. He was a graduate of Moultrie High School class of 1957, an Army veteran and also attended Grace Freewill Baptist Church. His family remembers him as a faithful man and a loving husband and father with quick wit. Mr. Croft will always be remembered as a good friend to all.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Barbara Boyd and Grace Lacey.
Survivors include his wife Janie Eunice Croft of Moultrie, Ga.; two sons, Eric Croft and wife Becky of Moultrie, Ga., and Heath Croft of Moultrie, Ga.; two grandchildren, Madison Croft and Meg Croft of Moultrie, Ga.; special brother-in-law, John Boyd of Moultrie, Ga.; and other family members.
Visitation was held Saturday, November 4, 2017 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
